The picture above shows "Vehicle City", a panoramic model of futuristic mega-city transportation that occupies the entire 3rd floor of this facility.

There are countless models of cars, ships, trains and airplanes displayed, as well as riding experience zone of fun bicycles and battery car.

An atomic bombed train "Hiroshima Electric Railway Type 650 No.654 train", which is also a witness of history, is on display as well.

Manufactured in 1942, it kept running across Hiroshima city before and after the atomic bomb was dropped and encouraging the citizens. It is the one of "Reconstruction symbols of Hiroshima".

How to travel to Hiroshima [From Shin-Osaka station]

Shinkansen/ Bullet train The time in the map shows the shortest time required when you travel from Shin-Osaka station to Hiroshima station, using the fastest train service NOZOMI. HIKARI/ SAKURA train services, which you can ride with Japan Rail Pass, take you about an hour and 30 - 40 minutes. From Hiroshima station to the area where the Peace Memorial Park is located, it takes about 20 minutes by Hiroden streetcar or buses.
