Make more enjoyable travel for children with Numaji Transportation Museum

Traveling that adults find fun is not always fun for children, too.
If you are traveling over Japan with family for a few weeks, let's pick up a place where your kids can fully enjoy sometimes.

Numaji Transportation Museum (Hiroshima City Transportation Museum) is a place that makes people who like vehicles feel happy.

 The picture above shows "Vehicle City", a panoramic model of futuristic mega-city transportation that occupies the entire 3rd floor of this facility.

There are countless models of cars, ships, trains and airplanes displayed, as well as riding experience zone of fun bicycles and battery car.

An atomic bombed train "Hiroshima Electric Railway Type 650 No.654 train", which is also a witness of history, is on display as well.
Manufactured in 1942, it kept running across Hiroshima city before and after the atomic bomb was dropped and encouraging the citizens. It is the one of "Reconstruction symbols of Hiroshima".

One of the oldest Onsen -hot spring- in Japan: Dogo Onsen (Matsuyama, Ehime)

Dogo Onsen, said to be the oldest hot spring in Japan, can be reached in about two hours from Hiroshima Port by high-speed ship and bus . If you take a ferry and a bus, it takes about 3 hours and 40 minutes; some of the ferry services are operated by a comfortable ferry called "SEA PASEO". It carries you to Ehime Prefecture in the Shikoku Region as if you were enjoying the wide Setonaikai (=Seto Inland Sea) National Park from a park on a ship.
