The picture above shows "Vehicle City", a panoramic model of futuristic mega-city transportation that occupies the entire 3rd floor of this facility.

There are countless models of cars, ships, trains and airplanes displayed, as well as riding experience zone of fun bicycles and battery car.

An atomic bombed train "Hiroshima Electric Railway Type 650 No.654 train", which is also a witness of history, is on display as well.

Manufactured in 1942, it kept running across Hiroshima city before and after the atomic bomb was dropped and encouraging the citizens. It is the one of "Reconstruction symbols of Hiroshima".

Hiroshima Flower Festival

A big festival called “Hiroshima Flower Festival” is held every year from May 3rd through May 5th in Hiroshima. In Japan, April 29th and May 3rd through 5th are national holidays, and many Japanese people combine the weekends before and after the national holidays together into one long vacation. When you hear the words "Setouchi Cycling," all you imagine is the "Shimanami Kaido"? With many islands in the sea of Hiroshima as well as many bridges spanning them, the area is full of places suitable for cycling. Here, we would like to introduce the Tobishima Kaido (Tobishima Sea Route). The Tobishima Kaido can be accessed from Kure City, which is closer to Hiroshima City than Shimanami Kaido.
