Hiroshima Castle Chrysanthemum Exhibition

The Hiroshima Castle Chrysanthemum Exhibition is held from late October through early November.  *Admission free There, you can see various types of chrysanthemums, such as large, round flowers that bloom in large numbers of layers, and small chrysanthemums that densely cover the walls. Also, a chrysanthemum flower bed that resembles the cityscape of Hiroshima is built in the area just passed the gate of Hiroshima Castle every year. It is for sure that you will enjoy it! Your hotel like a home from home in Miyajima

This is one of the few Western-style hotels in Miyajima Island with Japanese touches. While the rooms have the classic bed style, you can take off your shoes in the style of a Japanese house and relax on the wooden floor. When you arrive at Miyajima and walk out of the ferry terminal, the brown building you see on your left is the Miyajima Villa. It welcomes guests at the entrance to Miyajima. Leave your heavy luggage behind at the hotel as soon as you arrive at the island, and head out for sightseeing lightly. Needless to say, Miyajima is a tourist destination registered as a World Heritage Site, and there is not enough time to enjoy all of the historical buildings, nature, shopping, and gourmet food, but there is also plenty of hospitality for guests to have a special time at this Miyajima villa. Feature 1: Bath with tatami mats Feature 2: Restaurants with locally produced and consumed food Feature 3: A special venue for guests Feature 4: Stay i...

<Online Experience> True Stories of Atomic Bomb Survivors (in Hiroshima)

It is a hard thing to ask about what the Atomic Bomb survivors experienced, even if it is between the families, since it is something that needs enough willpower to speak out. Some atomic bomb survivors started to disclose their personal stories in order not to blame anybody but to convey their mutual message to the world; "No more victims and sufferers of nuclear weapons". One tour guide, who is a second-generation of atomic bomb survivors, got that opportunity to hear directly from the survivors through her job of interpretation. The Online Experience is provided by this guide, who wants to share the messages from the survivors that she received in that valuable opportunity. The contents in these stories are approved by the survivors. 3 minutes preview "True Stories of Atomic Bomb Survivors" Click here to book or learn the program more. View On Airbnb
