HIROSHIMA ORIZURU TOWER - WALL ART PROJECT "2045 NINE HOPES"-

HIROSHIMA ORIZURU TOWER is a facility standing right next to the Atomic Bomb Dome. From its "HIROSHIMA HILLS", its roof observation deck, you can enjoy the view of the Peace Memorial Park and Hiroshima City.

It also offers a variety of unique experiences as well as cafés and a souvenir shop for people of all ages to enjoy.

At the ORIZURU SQUARE on its 12th floor, visitors can experience various digital attractions using avatars and fold origami paper cranes to drop them into "ORIZURU WALL" which is the symbol of ORIZURU TOWER. Why don't you join us and drop your own folded ORIZURU into the "ORIZURU WALL"? Enjoy the special experience that only the ORIZURU TOWER can offer. Don't worry if you have never folded origami before, because there is a web application available in multiple languages instruction how to fold origami paper cranes.

On the east side of the building, there is a nine-story spiral walkway called "Sampo" SPIRAL SLOPE, which allows visitors to walk up and down from the first floor to the rooftop observation deck as if they were taking a stroll. The distance from the top to the bottom is approximately 450 meters. Elevators is also available to go up to the rooftop.

In the center of the spiral slope is a slide called "cool-cool-cool," which allows visitors to slide down while spinning around, creating a playful space unique to the ORIZURU TOWER where visitors can actively enjoy going down the slope.

In the spring of 2022, murals were painted on the walls of each floor of the spiral walkway as WALL ART PROJECT "2045 NINE HOPES," which was a reminder of the year 2045, 100 years after the atomic bombing.

One of the oldest Onsen -hot spring- in Japan: Dogo Onsen (Matsuyama, Ehime)

Dogo Onsen, said to be the oldest hot spring in Japan, can be reached in about two hours from Hiroshima Port by high-speed ship and bus . If you take a ferry and a bus, it takes about 3 hours and 40 minutes; some of the ferry services are operated by a comfortable ferry called "SEA PASEO". It carries you to Ehime Prefecture in the Shikoku Region as if you were enjoying the wide Setonaikai (=Seto Inland Sea) National Park from a park on a ship. There is a space where you can lie down and relax, and also a space where you can enjoy chatting like in a café. (Café is not operated.) If you have enough time, I would recommend you to take ferry.
